This blog post was the first to discuss Babestation 1's debut month on Freeview. This article was taken from @BabeTV’s now deleted Tumblr, published on March 13th 2014.
The first month of Babestation's Freeview broadcast, which began in the wee hours of May 13th 2009, was filled with a lot of interesting nerd trivia. The First Babestation Freeview show covered the first night, but there's a lot more to look at here. “I wonder how many fans know, for example, that on the third night, the Station Monitor (call stats chart) was accidentally fed to the screen? The Monitor revealed the amount of calls on Amanda Rendall’s line, as well as other phonesex call stats related to the channel, such as a count of incoming calls, nightly totals and the amount of calls connected to offscreen girls.”
Although the stats did not contain any critical information, the blogger sensed that Babestation would not have wished to make its trade statistics public. He found it interesting that the Monitor still included a total for Party Girls, even though the show had ended two months before. The Party Girls total was obviously zero. He goes on to detail Babestation on the Freeview Channel's first month in review: "On the first night, Donna Duke performed on what was actually the first section. While Donna was the first female performer on Babestation Freeview, Megan Moore was the first to interact, albeit offscreen, with a Freeview caller. On her one and only Babestation Freeview appearance, Anna Lovato was seen with Yvette Merriman. Additionally, this was Anna's first performance without a top on Freeview. Finally, Dionne Mendez modelled a delightful ensemble. The mobile shortcode, 89580, was only used for the first two nights and is different from the far more common 69444.
“There are quite a few other nerd notes I need to mention before I get started with a full schedule of onscreen personnel, but I’ll try and get through this as quickly as poss…
In the first 18 days of Freeview broadcasts, Babestation regularly featured its own 3G girls. These dedicated cam chat girls were axed at the end of May 2009, and were eventually replaced by the Sexstation Web girls.”
Although the Babestation 3G girls were featured internally and operated out of the main studio, they weren't typically well-known Babestation performers. The previous BS1 set had a separate 3G section. Part of the former 3G section was incorporated into the new Babestation 2 set when the set was divided into three in the fall of 2009, while the remaining portion was incorporated into Partyland. The 3G girls were never introduced by anything other than their first names, which made it challenging to recognise them, especially after so much time has passed.
Sammie also appeared as a 3G girl on the earlier Party Girls series. I’m not sure why her name was spelled Sammie as opposed to Sammy on the live babeshows. A quick round-up of some Babestation 3G girls: Melanie, Paris, Jemma Jey, Elle, seen on a later Partyland show and Sammie/Sammy promoting the Party Girls 3G service.
3G girl Paris, incidentally, also survived the spring ‘cull’ and subsequently made five appearances on the 3am Party People show before the end of July ’09. She didn’t, however, survive the scrapping of the Party People night show (3rd August ’09), and was not seen again on Babestation or its related shows after that.
Jodie Cox, Dionne Mendez, and Emily were a very welcome sight after midnight on May 30th 2009. Elle is also easy to recognise because she remained with Babestation as a daytime model and eventually appeared on the night shows under the name Elle Bailey.
Sammy Milewski was the real Sammie. You might remember her from an episode of Snog Marry Avoid from April 2009, or you could have later seen her name in the tabloids.
More BS Freeview history. The first show was introduced by Geri, then Donna turns the stage over to Megan later that same evening. While visuals were very cautious on the first night, it only took a week for girl-on-girl kissing to begin, and by June, threesome snog had become a factor. Dionne Mendez, Amanda Rendall, and Jemma Jey are all included in this tongue-twisting treat. The girls' standard introduction on early shows involved standing against the back wall without any visuals displayed. Tara Lee, Rachel Cole, and Jemma Jey are the three models.

THE SCHEDULE
Babestation 1 typically had three to four models during its initial month on Freeview. At this time, the female employees of Babestation 1 (Freeview and Sky) and Babestation 2 (Sky exclusively) stayed on air all night long on their respective stations. Later, a rotation system was implemented in order to ensure that all the babes worked both channels and that the Freeview programme would include more models. For ease of identification, the blogger listed Dionne Mendez, Morgan Preece, and Anna Lovato with both their first and last names. However, at the time, on Babestation Freeview, they only used their first names, so they were simply billed as Dionne, Morgan, and Anna.
