Babecast was Babestation’s sister channel that ran from 2003 until 2009. In this blog, taken from @BabeTV’s now deactivated Tumblr account, he looks at the Babecast's history and its Freeview TV debut.
Throughout the majority of the 2000s, Babecast TV was a Cellcast babe channel on Sky that aired alongside Babestation TV. It was never officially shown on Freeview because Babecast was later renamed Partyland around March 2009 to coincide with the channel's launch on Channel 50.
Instead of the intended introduction to Party People on the evenings of the 19th and 20th of February 2009, Babecast aired on Freeview Channel 37. @BabeTV speculated that the reason for this was more than likely due to a technical or feed error. At the time, Freeview channel 37 transmissions were required to follow a very strict and stringent no-boobs regulation, so it's unlikely that this particular screening of Babecast was done on purpose. Babecast delivered full Sky graphics and transmitted in 4:3 screen format, which made it a fantastic catch to acquire from a Freeview device, according to the Tumblr blogger.
Lady Ella Jolie, who was one of the top babes associated with Babecast, was fairly unknown to non-sky viewers at the time, but she would later become a very recognisable and familiar face just a month after landing on Freeview. Babecast was renamed Partyland in March 2009, and Partyland was broadcast on Freeview. Ella Jolie went on to appear on more live phonesex babeshows later in her XXX career, including Sexstation, Playboy TV, Red Light Central, and Studio 66 AKA S66. She was one of the most popular glamour models at the time. Other popular Babecast babes and British pornstars around the time included Dionne Mendez, Vicky Valentine, Emily Dean, Jennifer Keelings, Jemma Jey and Donna Duke.
